Out of 2 shelves of games, counting top shelf only I counted 17 titles that just so happen to carry the same titles as my missing collection.
I'm one of those who will pawn in a pinch if I need to.
Art holiday you should take your matter to small claims court given the fact that you have your signed contract with all the items listed and the redemption ticket. I know you wouldn't post a false review. Or sale a pickup truck and lie about the failed safety inspection because of the suspension karma is a..........
Leaving the store I was rather upset as I had paid full price for some of those games when they had been new releases.
Ok so a week later I went back in excited to get 85% of my collection back. I met back with the same manager that I had been working with. My heart dropped as I was not met with the usual loud and happy domenior we would throw back and forth each other. Instead he explained that Marty was "too busy" that I had to come back in another week and talk to the owner.
One of the employees told me that I needed to come in that following Saturday and see speak with a manager.
I asked the person behind the counter to pick a specific game off the shelf for me and tell me if it had the name ***** ******** written on it. My suspision confirmed as I was 100% correct! Before this point it was already apparent they were not going to give me back my games, headset or my kennect. As soon as I expressed my concern about my missing property there was a defensive manner in which all employees behind the counter stood.
I used to frequent this business frequently as I thought I felt friendship and honesty from management, or so I thought.
I asked ," what about my games on the shelf? They might be sold." All I got was a shrug of the shoulders and ,"it will be ok come back saturday".
The level of professionalism of customer service is 100% absolutely appalling! I should not as a paying customer in ANY establishement, feel as though myself and well-being are threatened, while I'm getting robbed by a pawn shop........
As the usual I went to repay the loan and pick up my items and noticed my items had fallen a little shy of what I had left with them. All I got back on my "loan" (which I paid off in full) was my 360 thank God, a mere 5 games and my hard drives.
Noticing my frustration he said," hold on a sec, let me go ahead and double check some things. Have a seat and I'll be right back".
As I sat down on an ac unit they had out on the floor I was approached by an employee from the day I paid my loan with them. He came at me with an aggressive tone and demenior and in not so many words to call me a liar. Surprised by the oddasity I called him out on that. " Oh no, no, no" he said nonshalantly. The gentleman helping me caught the end of it and stopped to ask is everything ok? Before I could say anything the employee striked in with," yeah we're good just talkin.
I quickly looked at their collection of Xbox 360 games that was for sale, low and behold......
As the guy helping me left to what he was doing the disrespectful excuse of an employee started in on me again, only this time in an agressive manner that made me feel threatened. I shot to my feet and and retaliated in the same manner I was approached. The employee played the victim card up while talking over me explaining I had to leave the store and never return!
That's about the time the guy helping me returned a puzzled look on his face as I stormed infuriated out the door.........
As they finished up retrieving my items I noticed the grocery sack of games which I had turned in with my system was not with my stuff. Also my kennect just happen to be sitting on the counter next to half my items but not for me to pick up, it was for sale! It was obviously mine as the writing in silver paint marker on the backside verafied it.
I had gotten a loan on my Xbox 360, kinect, 2 hard drives, gaming, headset and right around 20+ games.
He expressed his concern in a professional manner and eased my stress a bit explaining that we will get to the bottom of this and have Marty check the surveillance footage of the day I was in. Come back in a week and we will square this mistake away.
That Saturday I went in prepared with a list of games and my other items to talk to a manager.
