We're were very pleasantly surprised staying here. We found it in Aug on our way back at night, and the price was great.
Not a flagship for the Quality Hotel brand, but an adequate stopover in downtown Price. Hotel is about a mile and half off highway downtown. We were a late arrival. Parking is small and a bit sketchy. Hotel was just fine with superb staff. Comfortable bed, decent breakfast. Friendly guests.
We would definitely stay here again.
The room was spacious, new, very clean, and the owner was at the desk. Very kind, helpful.
He offered 50% off our rooms, which was nice-ish, but I told him that wasn't good enough because of the amount of work time and money that this situation created. He handed me my final receipt and said "We're good, we're good". I told him we were NOT good and I wasn't leaving til it was taken care of. He told me to call the owner (which was weird because the day before he told us he was the owner), but that I would have to wait until noon and I'd have to go outside, so other people that were now coming to breakfast wouldn't hear me. I refused, and told him I'd call the number right then and right there. I called the number and talked to someone who said they'd have to investigate then let me know what they decide, but it would take 24 hrs to process. I told him all he had to do was swipe my card, put a credit back on it and it would all be done. It wasn't until I told him I had pictures, that he said he would talk to the manager and figure it out.
Very well maintained with a friendly staff. Pool and spa very clean. Large clean odor free rooms with clean bedding and towels. Breakfast was good and well taken care of. WOULD stay there again! Nice stay!
Eventually I was given a receipt, showing no charge. The manager/owner was extremely eager for me to leave because he "didn't want others to know of this situation".
I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE WAY I WAS TREATED! If you are staying in Price, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Breakfast was as good as any we've stayed in.
Things took a turn FOR THE WORST at 5am the next day. I was awake reading, when a BED BUG went scurrying across my pillow. I immediately jumped up, caught the bug in a cup and then woke up my husband and 5 children. I took the bug to the front desk and rang the bell. The same man (who I think is the manager/owner), came out to see what I needed. I could go in great detail about how I was treated, but I will just paraphrase by saying that I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect by a hotel manager/owner in my life. He kept saying "I don't know why you're crying".. I explained to him over and over that I was just upset because of the amount of work it will take to deep clean all of my items, and my children's items..not to mention having to leave the hotel before 6:30am and not having anywhere to go because our games didn't start until noon.
We went to Price for a baseball tournament. We reserved 2 rooms (adjoining), and our stay at Quality Inn started out fine.. Check in took a bit of time because a lot of people showed up at once, due to games getting over at the same time, and there was only one man working the front desk (not a big deal because it wasn't his fault we all showed up at once).
Absolutely the most horrible experience at a hotel I have ever in my life. I would recommend sleeping in my car before staying here!! The owner is extremely disrespectful and implied I was ripping him off when I asked for a roll away bed and said I was trying to sneak someone else in the room?? I just asked for the third bed and we all checked in together... Like seriously?? I told him that he is very disrespectful to his guests and then he tried to jump over the table and fight me!! No joke!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this establishment.
We would stay again.
